Dale moved to Smithers in 1989 to article for his cousin, John, and became a partner in1994. He focuses on tax, trusts, wills and estates and corporate law, with particular emphasis on business structuring, reorganization and succession planning.

Sean E. Rowell

Graduated University of Northern British Columbia 2001 (B.A.) and University of British Columbia 2005 (LL.B.). Called to the Bar: May 10, 2006.
Sean works primarily in advising and assisting small businesses and deals with diverse legal issues in that role. Aside from that, his main areas of practice include mining law, business acquisitions and real estate (including conveyancing, leasing, financing, development and subdivision).

Brooke Haberstock
Graduated University of British Columbia, Okanagan, 2014 (B.A.) and University of Victoria 2018 (J.D.). Called to the bar on June 20, 2019.
Brooke joined the firm in July of 2019. Her main area of practice is family law, including issues of divorce, guardianship of children, child support and spousal support, division of property and debt and other issues related to marriage breakdown.

MORVEN A. S. BURCH
Graduated MacEwan University 2014 (B.Com.) and University of Victoria 2019 (J.D.). Called to the Bar May 14, 2021.
Morven focuses on corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on business reorganization and acquisitions, and real estate.

Lane J. Perry
Graduated Dalhousie University 2015 (B.A.) and Thompson Rivers University 2020 (J.D.). Called to the Bar May 17, 2021.
Lane is primarily a litigator. He has represented clients in contract, property and employment disputes, builders lien enforcement and other creditor remedies and estate litigation. He also assists with wills and other types of estate planning, obtaining probate and administration grants and real estate transactions.
